In the hospital, Sethulakshmi meets a new roommate called Devika. After a year, Sethulakshmi gets pregnant and Rajeev decides to go abroad. With her uncle's blessings, Sethulakshmi and Rajeev get married and start a happy life. Sethulakshmi can only trust her uncle who also happens to be her guardian. But in order to rescue Sethulakshmi and all her sisters, he jumps in to marry her at the same time. Rajeev, is the one in the show who has to withdraw from marrying Sethulakshmi due to the pressure from his family.
But the mother poisons herself and leaves the world. Sethulakshmi’s mother couldn’t handle the situation and decides to poison herself and her children but somehow the children survive. He forces Sethulakshmi to marry his new brother in law who is a truck driver. He wants Sethulakshmi to stop her wedding and marry his new brother in law. Because of this, he married another woman. Her father always detested Sethulakshmi and her mother.
